Hi I'm mermaid arabella also known as arielle I am a mermaid from Hampshire uk. I recently got my first tail (fabric) but didn't check any pools before hand so now I'm a bath tub mermaid. I'm quite excited to become part of the community and meet different mermaids and mermen

I wrote a letter to the council and put to them that I would pay for a private lane and took public liability insurance out on myself and I had no problems at all. Maybe try that and if you've done lessons too you'll need to copy the proof for them. Dont give up

Deffo do mermaiding lessons first. Have a look at in at the deep end and try this company too. They do mermaid lessons that in combination with free diving and you get a qualification in free diving at the end if it. There are no qualifications in mermaiding but this will help you loads with the council.
