I wouldn't say I'm into mer, but more into stuff adjacent. I am a very amateur special effect artist, and have a facination with aquatic creatures. Several of my planed projects involve aquatic or amphibious beings (or beings that evolved from such beings) and as such viewing threads here on which makeups are more waterproof and viewing the pics of sheets of scales people have made on this forum have greatly impacted my plans.
