Genuine question Tailmakers and time

hi everyone,

Please forgive my english is not super great. I spent 3 hours looking at forum trying to learn everything mermaid, and I wanted to know something I see tail makers and waiting times. I read reviews and questions and I was wanting to know why some people spend lots monies like $5,000 and waiting for tail for many years 5+ but someone wait for other tail maker 1 or 2 year and they get chewed out by communities? I saw 3 companies which seeming bad and were banned, but I see complaint of finfolk 5 or 6 year and nothing done? Don't they make fabric tails? Why happened to the silicone tails customer?

I am curious, I not defend, I just wanted to know if it's cause of popular company or they're updates?

It's usually a case of expected wait times + communication.

With a lot of bigger tailmakers they tell you right out of the gate how long their waiting list is and they send/post updates periodically as things move along.

Tailmakers get blasted for taking "too long" if they say it'll be done in a few months and it takes way longer, or if they just stop talking to you at all after you place your order, which is usually a cause for concern.
