Linden w/ no straps! Question

All right I might be trading for a fabric tail with a silicone fluke and it has a small Linden as the monofin. I know little about the Linden. This one has velcro straps instead the of the silicone? straps I have seen. I am size 11 womens. This one is supposed to fit up to 8.5. I'm told I could swim in this tail without straps. Has anyone ever done this or could recommend it? I'm also thinking I could mod the straps to accomadate me as well.

If your feet are bigger than the recommended size, you WILL get painful foot cramps. I know this from experience, when I used a Mirage Rubber Mermaid fin, their max size is 6 ladies and I am a size 8 feet.

I ended up not getting this tail. But I did order a Linden fin. I'm confused on the sizing, the seller said it was a SMALL linden, but from my understanding there is adult and kids. So maybe she meant kids size. Adult Linden should fit me just fine.
