I am incredibly impressed that you didn't end up harming yourself in some way making the DTD. I've made them for dressforms, but never tails, and always end up ripping out hair or cutting myself somehow. I may just be more accident prone than the average soul though.

XDD i used saran wrap around my legs before applying the duct tape because, my legs are really chubby and tape hurts like sooo bad.

I download and save copies of some of the pictures I find when doing this search every so often, but the level of wrong that I saw in that picture kept it out of my collection. All I remember is that I did a Google image search for mermaid tails....probably "DIY mermaid tail" or something and saw it somewhere really far down the list. Again, it just showed up on the Google image search result page.

can you build robots?
I can't do that right now, but if a fictitious Terminator type scenario came about, I could probably figure out how to reprogram them to be on my side. I've built smaller projects like my network connected power controller, a couple of security cameras, low power bitcoin miners (sold a few months ago), and as USB game controller. A robot has too many parts, would be expensive to build, and mine would probably fall apart in a way that I could not salvage the parts for something else.

If that was me ordering and waiting until Sunday, my thoughts would be "So I have nothing fun to do right now." Whenever I place an online order, I am happy when it arrives into my hands on a Friday. Thursday or Saturday I consider satisfactory. Any other day, I just hang on to it and maybe stare at it for days because my work schedule during the week typically doesn't allow me the time to use it (new tools, electronic components to solder, etc). Good example would be lights for a flat bed trailer that I soon hope to modify into a portable dock. I am itching to go outside to install it, but it is supposed to arrive in the mail today....no idea when.

The only lakes around me are either private land (if I knew how to contact the owners, I would ask permission), or parks that don't allow me to get my truck close to the water. I have to drive a little to get to the lakes where I can park close to the water...hence the need for a portable dock instead of just a dock.

That accurately describes where I go to now...except that its mud, not sand. When I am in the water with my silicone tail, I have to take it off while in the water and carry it out. Though I did invest in a powered water sprayer to use for this situation, I still don't like the struggle of walking thru mud to get out of the water.

The lake I go to doesn't really have any rules since not many people go there....it's a long drive along a gravel street. The silicone most likely won’t attach to the rubber parts of the monofin. She should still be able to access all the mechanics. The difficulty of adjusting things, however, will come down to the space that is left around them when assembling the tail and from the natural stretch of the silicone.

Great choice! I got a Linden for my new tail too and did a test swim and a comparison to my Finis Rapid and my crappy flimsy fin from Wish. The linden is about the same as the Finish but the feet were far more comfy and it looks much better without a tailskin. Uh.. so yeah.. i havent posted much but some terrible things happened to my art and i just cant fathom to just even bare it.

I have to restart completely over from scratch, my clay mold was treated so poorly that it made me cry for hours and im still so in despair about it..
There is dirty and trash on it and stepped into the piece and grass that has been stomped into the clay.
The clay is so hard to work with that i have cut myself many times just trying to work with it.. and to just see how bad is was... im just gonna make a new thread when i begin the new process .. this is what it looked like when i got home nothing was tampered with

That happen to me in the beginning inhad to set up makeshifts borders around my fluke sculpts cause the only space I had for it was the floor and still people stepped over it [emoji30] but what I learned from that is that restarting on sculptures is also a good thing because once u start again it’s fresh and you have more knowledge of what you are doing and have experienced how do it better than last time. So I say try to find the good in this disaster and make the best of the experience, perhaps if you have some other space or you can slide the sculpt beneath the couch so it’s out of the way? Slide it beneath your bed if there’s space.

I'm not going to make any suggestions on how you should proceed dealing with that individual since I don't know what their relationship is to you or what the entire scenario was, but if it was me, I would end up with one less friend. Even if that was to leave me with no friends, it would be better than hanging out with someone who would do something like that.
