Hello merfolk! I’m Mermaid Cordelia and I am very excited to be a part of this community. I have always been in love with mermaids and mystical creatures, so when I found out what mermaiding was, I knew it was for me. I am pretty new to this, but I have a couple tails and I’m really excited to expand on the wonderful world of merfolk.

Hello and welcome to the Network! Looks like you found your pod already - yay! The next step is to just dive in and start reading threads and learning about all sorts of mermaiding things. Awesome that you already have a few tails, hopefully you are swimming in just your monofin until you get used to it and are safe and comfortable.

Thanks for welcoming me! Actually I have been watching mermaids on YouTube for a while now and I have been swimming in my skins for a few months. I got them last year in June and I am feeling really great about it. Safety is really important so I’m glad you pointed that out, but I have been a very avid swimmer since I was little. I actually taught myself to swim and since then I’ve pretty much lived in my friend’s pool. Thanks so much for welcoming me. It feels so great to finally have found people like me!
