I currently do not have a mermaid name but my human name is Kaylynn. I have liked merfolk for as long as I can remember so probably about 20 years or something like that, my interest probably started because the first movies I ever watched was old Disney movies from Cinderella to Snow White so it probably started with the first time I watched the Little Mermaid. The things I like most about mermaids are that they seem very free and gorgeous swimming in the water like a ballerina, I also love all the different renditions of them that people come up with, they are so gorgeous, even if they seem terrifying. I was hoping that I would find a mermaid mentor type of thing on here to help show me how to get started as a mermaid, either for fun or as a job, and to find a Pod near me since I am kinda out in the middle of nowhere. I currently only have goggles, earplugs and a swimsuit but I hope to one day get a tail or at least a monofin.
