Shell-o everyone!

I'm new to MerNetwork so I deeply apologize if this is not the right forum/place to post this. I saw someone else post a survey here many moons ago and I thought I'd give it a try!

My name is Olimpia but you can call me Ocean Goddess (because I am one ;)) and essentially I'm doing this really boring Operations Management report on the most fun topic ever - MERMAIDS!!!
Of course, there is like no data out there in what I'm writing about, hence the need to ask all you lovely Merfolk for help!

There are 14 questions total, 6 are questions for mermaid tail makers and 8 are general mermaid tail customer experience Qs (the survey has branches). I want to be as transparent as possible with you all (and I really want a good grade :lol:)

OK, I did it. However, be aware my answers are STRONGLY skewed due to covid. For example, I normally tail swim in the local pools or the ocean. I do have a backyard pool, but it is small and not very fun with a tail. Also, many times I go tail swimming with the desire to interact with others (other mers or the humans), something to avoid at this time.
Thus, I am not swimming, nor looking for new tails.

Finally, I have a monofin that is heading for being a collectors item: A Lunocet (it is out of production). It took me years to find a tail maker who would make a silicone skin for it. But I succeeded just before covid hit. The result is I have had little use of it. Anyway, my tail buying experience is colored by the extreme difficulty I had getting a skin that would fit that monofin.

I went ahead and responded as well. A few of my answers were also colored by COVID and the inability to swim as normal this year. So with the acception I think of the last time I wore my tail I answered as if things had not been so dangerous this year.
