Thank you I'm using scuba knit fabric, this one I'm using is hardly/not stretchable and that's why one has to be very accurate with measurements when making tails out of non stretchy materials...also that's why I attached zippers to the sides because of my accidental measurement... For the scales at the moment I'm using plain ordinary marker pen just because I want to see how fast (or maybe not) the scales fade in water while swimming with it...If it fades then I will re do the scales with fabric paint...I bought a tub of waterproof coating and will paint coat the entire tail when I'm fully done with the finished product design and all.
