Greetings. I'm Avian Piscean but my friends call me Thai or Avian. I'm new to the world of mermaids, but I've loved the water since I was very young. I grew up with stories about mermaids, sirens, and my personal favorite, selkies, and recently came across the community while looking for mermaid and selkie aesthetic videos. I found Courtney's video on how to be a mermaid without a tail, and it was all downstream from there. Currently tailless, but I do have flippers to help me build up to eventually working with a monofin. I would love to have a tail one day, but as long as I'm living my best mermaid/selkie life, that's what really maters to me. I'd also love to get involved with a pod some day, and here looks like a good place to start.

Greetings. Selkies are pretty cool : ). FinFun is a good place to start with mermaids tails. You can join a pod of your choice here.

I've actually been keeping my eye on fin fun. I don't want to buy too much just yet though. I'm moving soon, so it would be silly to order a fin and have it either arrive after I've moved, or had to pack it as soon as I got it.

Yes I understand that said that let you time to see vids and stuff to pick their best tail model for your tastes. I love mine tough i did have only few occasions to use it. Anyway as you said even without a tail...feel free to chill here or elsewhere living your best mermaid/selkie life. Most of the time as i do not live near water that is also what i do in fact :).

Of course! ;) I've actually been watching a lot of wonderful content creators, and I'm also fortunate enough to live very close to not only a lake, but several other bodies of water. I also am involved in a really fun dnd campaign with friends, that takes place deep bellow the ocean, and we're all playing races that can live in water. I personally chose to play a selkie, and one of my other friends is a mermaid, so that's been another major way I've been living my mermaid life. I'm also in another game where I'm a water themed magical girl, who can also become a mermaid. Wouldn't mind looking into starting a game where a pod of mermaids and selkies get together and go on adventures, with anyone who might be interested here. I might make a post in the games chat at some point.

And now that I mention it, fun fact, the seal on my avatar is actually the selkie I'm playing in dnd. Her name is Splash, (no relation to the movie, though it is a major influence in other parts of my life.) She's a bard and storm sorceress. And she loves seaweed. One of my friends actually recently sent me a seal plush in the mail for my birthday because of her, and my over all love of seals and selkies.

Well all that is pretty cool. Unfortunately it's seem that they are few of us in the forum now probably will be more in summer but we can try to start something. I live in a town so my most common contact with water is basic drink it and shower with it (well at least there's that XD) but i do sometime use my tail in bath and i do have some days in pool from time to time plus i have plans to move to a house next sea but it's a bit far away hope. Right now i do mostly learn stuff about the ocean and its creatures with documentaries and such, have a spooky mermaid costume i do on occasion like Halloween and the like, and did just beat Poseidon in a old difficult GBA game mastering it's water level. I love seaweed too. Plus i am a pagan so yes to water magick. Seals are lovely.

Oh sweet. I'm actually an eclectic pagan myself. I've been in and out of practice a lot, but I have a few books, and items. I'd love to get into water magic, especially since I'm a water sign, hence Avian Piscean. I'll do little things here and there, like sing while I spin or crochet, putting little spells in my work. And before you ask, no, I haven't made a mermaid blanket quite yet, but it's absolutely on the to do list for sure. I'm still just trying to build up my skills, as well as get more yarn in my stash.

This is a good starter source for water magick i feel if you want tips to got into it : https://www.thewholesomewitch.com/water-magick-correspondence-rituals/. I am a Sagitarius and fire is every where in my astral theme but i'm all water anyway...fire is for passion i guess then XD.

If you want to find a reliable writing service, you should make an accurate analysis (https://www.writingpapersucks.com/essaybox-org-review/) of all the platforms you can find on the web. I have spent several days to determine all the pros and cons of each service that met my demands at the first glance.

In order to turn your social accounts profit, Buy Yelp Reviews (https://accbuzz.com/product/buy-yelp-reviews/) you have to make sure that you're using the right strategies. Facebook and Twitter, for instance, are notorious for ripping off businesses by guesstimating their customers' interests. These companies then use the data from their users to determine which ads to send to them, but sometimes the data is incorrect. If an ad is sent to a user who won't click through to the product or service, Buy Glassdoor Reviews (https://accbuzz.com/product/buy-glassdoor-reviews/) Facebook will lose money.
