New York Mermaid

I decided since Mermaid Parties is working on my tail I would give you all a sneak peek of the design. The only thing actually being changed is the Dorsal fin, because i have some junk in my trunk (and a tiny dorsal fin wont look good lol) I told Stephanie to have a go at changing the dorsal a bit. Im so glad Stephanie took this on. Literally 6 months working on "getting this tail right" fixing the dorsal, or the fluke etc, and finally.. Then Mermaid parties came into the picture. I am glad they did.
The color of the tail is to match my seashell bra by MermaidsRUs. I wanted a bit of a rough look, considering my mersona is sweet but like to hang around great white sharks and Orcas, I figure a a tattered fluke and dorsal fin would look alot more "realistic. I wanted to actually take a "bite" mark on the fluke but decided against it maybe later on a different tail. The spines are from an idea i got looking at a fish at the aquarium. The tail is designed off a male orca's curved fluke and the pattern of the tail is mor geared towards a gret white shark.. except its gray and blue instead of white. And the tips are from of course the great white shark, Some have black tips on their pectoral fins.
