it's been a real dream of mine to have a photoshoot of me in my tail in a lion foot tub like so:

does anyone know how one would come across one of these tubs for a photo shoot? Like maybe for rent? (i've heard some where that some companies specialize in props for plays and such and would rent things out)

Might ask a Kitchen and Bath Showroom and offer some free advertising with it. They usually have them set up in a bath diarama which would be cool!

Lol, there's a place in my town that only sells clawfoot tubs, and there are dozens of them sitting outside of the store. You may be able to find some place like that that wouldn't mind letting you use one.

Claw foot tubs are ridiculous to buy new: roughly $900. I suggest traveling to a town a little older... I live in upstate NY and all the houses here are from the early 1800's...so when people modernize the places or gut them to convert them into apartments...they either toss them or sell them for dirt cheap. I bought mine for $60 and only had to travel an hour. :)

I asked my aunt, b/c I think it would be awesome to have a photoshoot in one. She has like 150+ rental placces in Glen Arbor, MI, so she said that she probably has one. Which means this summer, if no one is renting the place that has it, I will be able to get my pictures.

Also- check craigslist! There is probably one on there.

I love lion foot tubs! They hold your tail and have a classy look to them! I want one when I move!

Those tubes are very nice an would be perfect to a photo shot. But there is a small down side to the tubs. They are SUPER heavy to move. I have taken a few to the scrap yard an it took a bit to move them off my truck with out help.
