Hello from the North Sea

Hi Merfriends,

My name is *Celine*, after years of dreaming and swimming with tails my mother made me and after doing 6 years of research, I finally had the guts to make my own tail. Being reborn as a Mermaid I'm glad I found this community to share my ideas, dreams and tail with you.

I already learned a lot on this forum and everybody is very kind to me so I thought I'd officially introduce myself in this thread.

I had my first test photoshoot in december with the unfinished tail, after that, I had some issues with my homemade monofins snapping in two (luckily I figured out my mistake and I'm gonna try again). Being impatient I bought a Finis Competitor and now I have to alter the tail because the Finis is smaller. I'm hoping to get my tail in the water soon. I the mean time I started designing a new tail.

I hope that when I have enough experience I can design and create tails for others

Fantastic pictures, looks like very much work. The painting, the tail-skin transition, all of that looks really good.

yeah, it's a lot of work but it's worth it. and I'm going to make the same fluke again, just without the mistakes and the, hopefully it won't snap anymore. :-)
