Is Anyone Still Out There?

It seems like MerNetwork has really become obsolete - which is a shame because I've only just discovered it. I've seen perhaps one or two people still active, but it seems that by-and-large, this website has been abandoned.

So is anyone still out there? Are we still using this website? If not, are there other websites that are more active presently?

It seems such a shame that a website with so much information regarding tails, products, techniques, and more has gone so silent. So if there are any mers still here, sound-off in the comments below.

Hello! I still come around occasionally, and I like to binge-read old threads. I wish the old moderators would just transfer their status to someone new or turn the site into an archive since they aren't around anymore as far as I know, but I do understand that life happens and things can't last forever. The bots here are terrible though, and I have no idea what they're even programmed to achieve... they are the least convincing or useful advertisements I think I've ever seen.

There is a current mermaid discord server you could try! However, I can't find a link and it seems only moderators on the server are allowed to send invites. If I can get an invite link, I'll send it your way! I'd also recommend trying mermaiding Facebook groups. I'm sorry that this website is inactive, I miss it's older days as well.

I've got my own Discord running that isn't too active, however, a new mobile app called MerMapp (only on Google Play for now) has stood up and it seems that one of their goals is to fill the void that has been created by the disappearance of moderators on this site.

That app looks really interesting! I don't know if my devices will work for it since it's Google Play, but I'll definitely look into it! Also really cool to see a Nebraskan mermaid, I know my fiancée sometimes feels lonely as a mer in such a landlocked state <3
