HeyYo, from NE Kansas! I came across this site while researching how to make my own tail. I grew up with Splash and the Little Mermaid. Annoyed my best guy friend to no end, chasing him around the playground, singing Ariel's "Ah ah ah..." Now, I get to annoy my BEST guy friend (i.e., my husband) with my fishy pursuits. Our daughter wants in on the game, too.
I'm an art major in digital. I do henna, facepainting and glitter tattoos. Waterproof makeup would be great for me and my merfriends. I also make jewelry, origami and natural bath and body products. Middle eastern dance, and now mermaiding. See all that biz stuff at www.facebook.com/hennacelebrations (http://www.facebook.com/hennacelebrations)
I started work on my tail and will be so happy to swim with my tail on. Need to take the flukes out for a test and I'm waiting for fabric samples.

I just visited your facebook page- I think it's pretty awesome that you make your own henna paste. Is that common for the more serious henna artists? I'd love to get more into that, it's so cool <3

I don't want to take up space on the forum talking too much about not-directly-mer-related activities. Please fan my FB page and talk PM me here. Cool waves?

So excited I found another mer here in town. Like me, she doesn't have a tail (yet), that that's going to be remedied.
