I emailed him asking for tail repair advice, and this was his wonderfully helpful reply!
What I can offer is some help to fix your own Tails. Of course --I cannot guarantee that it will solve all your Tail problems. 1) To fix any leaks, use "DAP Alex Plus" acrylic caulking. 2) To touch up the paint, use "Liquitex" acrylic paint. 3) Seal the paint with acrylic sealer spray (any brand). Note: You could also add glitter while the sealer is still wet. Remember that the sealer spray does dry quickly.
IMPORTANT--Read and follow all the directions that come with the products. You must use latex gloves at ALL times. Work in a room with open windows or in an open patio area.
