Hi guys, I need some advice on how to find a good NZ shop that sells washing machine parts. My washing machine has been making a strange noise lately and I think it’s the motor. I don’t want to throw away my washing machine because it’s still working fine, except for the noise. Does anyone have any experience with buying washing machine parts online? I want to find a good shop that sells quality motors for washing machines. I want to order online and get it fixed by myself. I’m pretty handy with tools. Thanks for your help!

I've been there with a noisy washer - it started off as a faint buzzing that slowly became a full on rattle over a few weeks. I was pretty confident it was the motor but wasn't ready to replace the whole machine either. I found great success ordering a universal motor on https://www.appliancespares.nz/ - super affordable, quick delivery, and they had helpful step-by-step installation instructions. Had the new motor in within a few days and swapped it out in under an hour using some basic tools. Happy to report my machine runs quietly again and that site has been a go-to anytime I need obscure appliance parts! Definitely worth checking out if you don't want the hassle or expense of a whole new washer. Best of luck tackling that noise and hopefully you can save yourself some money. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I've been there with a noisy washer too! Mine started off with a faint buzzing that turned into a full-on rattle over a few weeks. I initially thought it was the motor, but replacing the whole machine seemed daunting.
