I'm new here at the forum and only found it by chance.
I've been thinking of getting a tail for many years, but I picked up a finis competitor about four years ago and have been really happy with it. Then, the other night I found out about the Oceanika fin. I wanted some reviews and came here from a google search.


My love for mermaids started as a little girl after watching the movie Splash (I'm sure that's everyone's story;)). Then my parents took me to Weeki Wachee Springs! I knew then and there I had to be a mermaid one day.

I'm scuba certified, but prefer free diving. I currently live away from the ocean and can sadly do neither at the moment:(


I hope to lose a few pounds ( I'm a mother of two youngsters) get back in shape and save up some cash to reward myself with a tail.

are you in texas? at any rate, hello and welcome! i found this site by accident as well. i was looking up Linda Fraser and Hannah Mermaid stuff when i came across Winged Mermaid thread about the MerCon plus pics. did you stalk the site for a few weeks before joining like i did? ;)

i used to live in ft worth! all my best peeps are there (from HS days). my parents are still there. also spent 6 yrs in wichita falls.
currently north of clearwater beach...i love it here. if FTW only had a coastline....*sigh*

I was perusing the MerCon thread with a proposed coral Gables site , a beautiful pool! Us Florida mers need to have a mini con and test it out! It looks perfect for mermaids!
