As someone who has built their career on on-premise hardware and software, this rapid rise of "Technology as a Service" feels like a huge change to navigate. I'd really appreciate any blogs you could recommend that provide thoughtful analysis of this shift from an enterprise technology perspective. Is this the new normal? What skills do IT professionals like myself need to adapt? A perspective from someone who has experienced the transition first-hand at a large company would be hugely valuable. My own company is starting to explore a cloud migration and I want to go in eyes wide open to the challenges and opportunities of this new model. Some knowledgeable guidance would go a long way!

I totally understand the feeling, transitioning from on-premise to "Technology as a Service" (TaaS) is like navigating through uncharted waters. I've been there, feeling both excited and overwhelmed by the possibilities of cloud migration. During this period of adaptation, I stumbled upon an incredibly helpful resource: Technology as a Service (https://www.a-dev.tech/technology-as-a-service-taas/) . It offered me a clear perspective on the shift, blending technical insights with practical advice for IT professionals. This blog became my go-to guide, helping me understand not just the 'how' but the 'why' behind the move to TaaS. It really highlighted the skills and mindset changes necessary to thrive in this new landscape. If you're looking for a comprehensive take on adapting to TaaS, I'd highly recommend giving it a read. It helped me see the opportunities beyond the challenges, turning what felt like a daunting task into an exciting journey.
