My family recently went to alaska for two weeks, and I saw some mer stuff so naturally I took pictures! And of course I thought I would share them here!

This is a cafe I saw in Ketchican called sweet mermaid. We didn't actually eat there so this was the best picture I could get. (and sorry for the instagram-ing, it was the only way to be able to see the sign.)

I had to crop this to make this fit, but basically it's a map of Alaska that had a mermaid on it- I guess arctic explorers saw mers just as much as Caribbean explorers!

This was also in Ketchikan; There was a woman selling homemade jams and syrups and she had a mermaid statue outside her stand. I had to crop it so you can't really see that, but yeah.
I know there's some people on here who really love Orcas, so here's some native lore about Orcas!:
