Hello from Ohio!

Hello! My name is Opal/Opalescence! I'm from Ohio and was hoping to find some fellow merfriends up on the lake :p I've wanted a tail for over 10 years, but it's hard to buy a nice tail when you're just a kid... But now that I'm older and more responsible I'm finally buying my first tail soon! I'm buying a Mertailor guppy tail... But I know I will definitely be getting a fantasea 3 tail when I can save up for something bigger. I created an account on here maybe 8 years ago but I never used it...LOL

Not sure how active these forums are but thought it was worth a try since I've been watching from the sidelines for too long!

Forgot to mention! I got into mermaids from stumbling on the side of YouTube when kids would make their own H2o series that were very "original", which got me into h2o, and mermaids! I always loved being in the water and the feeling of swimming underwater, despite my inability to open my eyes or unplug my nose. (I'm always wearing goggles and a nose plug) I will be working on those skills this summer! (Not excited about it, it sounds scary and uncomfortable but it's something I really want to learn)

I've never had a TRUE tail, I think the closest I got was buying one of those classic Finis kids monofins but I had grew out of it by the time I bought it...
