Hate it when that happens! I only ask because I have seen so many videos of beached sharks and dozens of people stand around, poke them and take pictures and no one ever think to try and save the poor creature! makes me so mad!

Yes, they did try and save it. The little baby died an hour after beaching - very, very sad.

The worst part was a local saw it struggling not far from shore 3 days earlier and did nothing. We have the marine mammal rescue! Makes me so mad that it could have possibly been saved instead of dying on a beach.
