Evening guys, I have a lot on my plate, but I've been mainly reading these forums, getting help on my tail and stuff, but I have one HUGE problem. I know I want to make a silicone tail, because my mother is allergic to latex, but I don't have the room, nor the time to make the mold. I'm a full time nursing student, very few time to myself. So I was wondering...

I was reading and researching and I heard Dragonskin doesn't cure to neoprene nor spandex/lycra, so is it possible to make a neoprene tail cut out, and add a umm... (looking for the word).. Barrier? Between the dragonskin and neoprene so it dies but doesn't stick to the neoprene due to the barrier, but it'll hold it's shape. Of course I'll put the neoprene in a box or something so the dragonskin liquid doesn't get everywhere, but will this work? Once it dries, I can peel it off the barrier, and set it aside, or just add another top coat with dragonskin coloring, and then once I'm done, stitch or glue both pieces together to form a tail. Will this work??

Please help, I cannot make a mold. Any advice will help, no matter how little it is.

But she can't make a mold..

I'm sure there's something out there that could bond it... Have you looked into other silicones?

Not much, I dont even know where to look. Im an artist mostly working with clay, paints, sculpting, drawing, etc.. I never had a project like this, dont even know where to start looking and for what. I can make the easy latex ones, but this silicone really tests my skills and is much needed. :/
