Anyone know anything about these tails?

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable buying them, because $35 with free shipping seems awfully cheap for even low-end spandex(most monofins alone cost more than that!). You usually get what you pay for and when something seems "too good to be true" it usually is, so as pretty as they are(love the unique fluke shape!), I gotta wonder "what's the catch?".

Hmm... I don't think those have a monofin in them. It's one of those Zentai suits.

I wasn't familiar with Zentai suits, so I had to google it, and yep indeed, it looks like someone caught the top half off those full body mermaid Zentai suits, which helps explain why they're so dirt cheap.

they have really good customer satisfaction though. and my first practice tail was pretty cheap too and it"s still fine. Doubt they have a monofin though- thats what makes fabric one expensive. The photos are all photoshopped though to show the diff colours.

Yup, Chinese zentai suit. No, they don't have a monofin, and you wouldn't be able to add one. They all use the same stock photos: what you get could look different, in terms of color and especially fin design.

You can get them in all sorts of designs, from mermaid to superhero to tiger. It's mostly a spandex fetish thing :P

@ Raina, yeah, I know lack of monofin really brings the price down! FinFun mermaid tails are almost as cheap as those, depending on the size, and they aren't meant to be used with a monofin.

They are indeed those suits. And while these are bad for swimming, they may be perfect for those who do dry shoots or cosplaying.
