I would like to propose you to registrate on a map showing where you live.
It will be helpfull to people who want to meet each other or to organize unofficial Merconventions (why not ?)

Here's one I made a long while ago of just the mers I knew of in the US, around December of last year.

The issue is, people don't like giving out personal info. Also many lose interest in this hobby and it's hard to tell if any statistical info is really accurate since some don't use this site or are no longer active. Also we aren't very populous.

But you don't give in my map your city but only your state or your departement.
It's not for spying people but only to can only see who are near to you.

I'm not near to you at all !! X) I'm living in south France... But this map could be very usefull for me (I would like to come to the USA to meet some mermaids =) )

from what i can tell, it doesn't need an adress and it only posts your city and state with a flag.

i was looking for one that shows how many people are in that area (ex: if i looked at AZ it would show that more than 1 person is there) But i couldn't find anything.
