Highlight of my week

Ok, I just had to share this. I just stumbled upon this video of an octopus stealing a diver's video camera:

When I saw this I had to suppress hysterical laughter so I wouldn't wake up the house.... so yeah. Enjoy! (I'm pretty sure the octopus wasn't hurt when the person got the camera back, so it's all good.)

Haha, I remember this! It's in the harbour where I live so was in the paper/on the news lots when it happened. Pretty funny! Apparently made him a bit late for work - good excuse, and with video evidence ;)

"hey boss, sorry I'm late for work, but you're never gonna believe this. I was going for my early morning scuba dive and recording the reef on my new camera, when suddenly an octopus jumped me and stole it. I chased him for a loooong time until I finally caught up to him and threatened to kill the delinquint with my spear fishing equipment if he didn't give it back. So he gave me back my camera, but then the bitch tried to steal my spear! So I decided to do what any diver being robbed would do. I took him for a jolly good stroll through the rest of the reef. And that's why I'm late for work."

But then again I have always liked that type of octopus, after reading about Aurora (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7502647/ns/technology_and_science-science/t/aging-octopus-finally-mom/). Her story moved me to such a degree that I wanted to keep it with me always:
