Where would you live in the sea?

If you lived in the ocean as a mermaid/merman, where would you stay? Would you live in a cove, Atlantis, mermaid lagoon, or the ocean itself?

I would live in a spring fed water way. Probably by the mouth of the spring in the cave.

Although I live near the Great Lakes, I don't think it would be the first choice I'd make in choosing a home. I'd probably choose some where near the equator, a nice sunny spot where the water is warm. :D

I'd be a reef dweller ^_^ I love the bright, colourful world of coral reefs- the warm waters certainly help too! hehe! But I would also like to linger on a huge sand-flat, just so I can swim around in the deep water all day with no seaweed! XD

I have been in the waters of Belize, both in a river in a Rainforest (and the cave from which the river originated) and in the ocean itself. I never did get to dice the Blue Hole, though, as it was for a college trip in Tropical Field & Marine Biology (and I was an English major). A wonderful place to explore. :)

Some combination of a lagoon/cove and reef would be nice... sheltered, crystal blue waters, near the shore (with sweet fruits and flowers, etc)... maybe a nearby waterfall, too.

Somewhere warm and tropical, with lots of coral. Maybe just off the coast of some deserted island that has plenty of fruit and fresh water on it. I don't know where such a place exists, but I will tell you when I find it. Or maybe I will just keep it all to myself :p

I also like the idea of having an Atlantis type place as a home base, but living out in the wild sea. Like some humans live in the woods or a swamp, but venture into the city if they must.

Wherever Ariel lived in the movie with all the other mermaids, and there was the king, and all the mermen, and caves. If not there, then in some coral reef where it is warm and tropical. Ahhh.

I would swim around florida. there are some beautiful natural water hole areas where you can swim up through caves and come right into a pond/swimming hole populated by people. I will try to find a picture. but i would live down near florida just so i could swim inthe warm water and swim up and through all those underwater caves...and to pop up and scare people lol.
