Has anyone used spraypaint on ALEX for a tail?

I dont think that would work, because you need paint that can be heatset. You can get the same result putting createx in an airbrush. You dont even need expensive stuff, just use the bottles of canned air

Where do you get the airbrush supplies from? And has anyone used a createx substitute that can be found in stores?

some people have but have reported it not working. Heat set paint is the best, but it'll still chip and peel, unless you're using real latex tinted with pigments. You can buy the stuff for the canned air air brushing system from most art stores, I got mine from michaels all under 30$

At make-up school we used watered-down acrylpaint to spray it with an airbrush over the latex. I still have the mask I made and as it is use a lot during the finalsit still has no cracks and didn't peel of by using it. That mask is now about then 20 years old.
