That looked like a scallop, to me, and scallops are known to hold a grudge. One day, when that person is swimming in the sea, the scallop with exact its revenge:

By contrast, here's how clams get about; with their "foot":

I guess it's a scallop? I'm not too savvy on shellfish :'P

Either way that was a cute video, I'm sure the clam wasn't to happy at the time but at least
they let it go after xD

the scallops online look NOTHING like the scallops here, at this rate Im going to have to take a photo. Scallops here are always white and smooth, and I was surprised to not find any photos while googling them. I thought all scallops look like my scallops- and I cant even find em online XD

Maybe they call something else scallop where you live? I know in certain areas the names are completely
different. At least in Austrailia they do xD

Agreed. Around here, scallops look like this:

But if I want one for my aquariums, I might go for:

ours look like this, they're really smooth (generally NO big ridges) and totally white or beige unless covered with mud! and they're all abalone inside

I still dont think these photos do justice, like ours are generally all white, huge and flat.

Im going to go dig mine out and take photos LOL, I did have to search "nova scotia scallop shells" to get anything even close to what Im used to seeing
