How do you measure yourself for a tail

I found that my Joannes carries neoprene (Last order so it is majorly discounted!). I am going to attempt to make a tail!

-belly button to floor
-around your belly button
-around the widest part of your hips
-around your knees
-around your ankles

If you want to be super accurate, you can do measurements in between those points, like thighs and calves. basically you divide that in half, center the measurements on the neoprene and cut the pattern out. There's lots of tutorials on here about how to make a fabric tail, the measurement method is essentially the same. :)
