That site makes me kinda mad. It just encourages anyone to upload as many mermaid pictures as possible, and it doesn't have any attribution at all. They don't even have something to flag stolen photos or add information where they're from. And the place is drowning in ads. Its basically an image stealing machine where users add stolen content while the owners sit back and cash fat ad checks. I think this kind of business model is totally unethical.

they're stealing people's merchandise? I thought all of the pictures were linked to Amazon. I need to take a look at it again, Thanks Malinghi for pointing that out.

They're not stealing merchandise, they're stealing content. People are drawn to the site by its large collection of images for instance, but all of its images come from people uploading things, without regard for ownership. Without attributing things and explaining where they came from, mermaidcastle.com makes money off of people viewing images of Hannah Frasier for example. But she doesn't get any credit or publicity or traffic to her website. The people who create content get nothing, while the site, which doesn't produce any content, profits from other people's work.
