Silicone accessories.

I'm going to try working on some silicone accessories for swimming in, but I do have a question. Is it possible to take a sheet of molded silicone and join two ends together to make a seam using more silicone?

Also, for tinting the silicone, is acrylic or latex paint better?

To the first question, yes.
For the second do not use latex paint. It will mess up the curing of the silicone.
