I was wondering if anyone had venues near them where they perform Broadway shows.

In Cincinnati, we have the Aronoff Center for the Arts (http://cincinnati.broadway.com/venues/theaters/aronoff-center-arts/schedule/).

I have seen All Shook Up:

Cheyenne Jackson is just as hot in person as on TV!.... * giggles *

The other one I was able to see was HAIRSPRAY: (This is the Cincinnati people putting this on.)

The next one I plan to see is next year when Sister Act comes to Cincinnati.

What have you seen or plan to see?

Here in San Diego, we have the Civic Theater, where they show on and off - Broadway productions. I really wanted to see the yearly production of Wicked, this year, but i missed out again. Oh well, maybe next year.

My theatre the Broward Center for the Performing Arts is known for having large productions coming into our theatre and most of the time we get some of our town's favorite musical returning already for the 5th time Wicked is coming back next year. Personally I'm waiting for Wonderland to go on tour... If that ever happen!

Hey Jesse... I fully agree! I went to the stage door to congratulate my friend on his performance after I saw XANADU on B'way with my hubby, and Cheyenne came out and went right up to my hubby and said: don't I know you? Turns out, my hubby knows him and didn't tell me!! I was like-- ummm... we should have him over... hehehehe ;)

Wicked plays here all the time.

I think Wonderland will be playing next year in Cincinnati.

For All Shook Up, I was in the balcony.

For Hairspray, I was in the 4th row from the orch pit. That was an awesome show!.

We have the Durham Performing Arts Center. It's only been here a few years but it's a big deal. I've seen Beauty and the Beast, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and Weird Al there.
