Alright, I hope I'm putting this in the right place...

I am in Charleston, SC for about a week, and I want to find somewhere to swim with my monofin! The pool where I live doesn't allow fins at all, so I never get a chance to practice swimming in it. There's a pool where I'm staying but it only goes to five feet, and since I'm taller than that I don't really get the same feeling, and it's rather small for me to try going fast! I won't take it in the ocean (I'm not a good enough swimmer, visibility issues, as well as a crippling fear of jellyfish that keeps me in the shallows) so that option is out. I've searched around a little bit but haven't really been able to find anywhere around here, so if anyone knows of someplace I could go and stretch my fins I'd be very grateful!

I had looked at that website briefly, but it just managed to confuse me

The two that are near Charleston don't really seem to be that great...the first one says that it has alligators and can be too low to swim in, and the second seems like an iffy sort of place. Anyways, I think I'll just try finding some kind of recreation center or something with a pool. The problem is they normally don't have websites so I wouldn't know if I could use my fin until I got there  I think these places should at least have basic websites, this is one of my biggest pet peeves!

I did a search for 'water parks' on Google Maps and here is the result: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=charleston+south+carolina+water+parks&fb=1&hq=water+parks&hnear=Charleston,+South+Carolina&t=m&z=11
Maybe that will help.
