Great place for a meetup: Tiki Oasis in San Diego Aug. 17th-19th

This is a weekend long poolside celebration of everything 1960's Hawaiiana! Mermaids would be perfect here! The pool is not very deep and will be fairly crowded, so it would be more of a sitting poolside and looking pretty, posing for photos and chatting kind of thing.

I'd have been there this year if not for being in another state. I saw your pic- an old friend of mine was the offical photog! You looked great. I just came across this article on TO (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lisa-derrick/tiki-oasis-12-exotica-esp_b_1787737.html?utm_hp_ref=fb&src=sp&comm_ref=false#sb=1380775,b=facebook) and I can't believe they didn't even mention the mermaids that were there. But, then again, the author of the article seems to have missed the point completely. One commenter points that out, too... this wasn't about current events, this was about escape from the modern era.

I don't know if I'll attend next year, time will tell.
