Part of Me: A magical music video :)

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you all a 'music video' that I made recently to Katy Perry's new song "Part of Me".

When I first heard this song, I felt I could really relate to it with mermaid/fairy/princess journey. When I first became a mermaid, I was ridiculed constantly by strangers and close friends. Heck, I even lost a few friends because they thought I was a freak. This video features some of things said to me by strangers on the internet and even some things posted on my personal Facebook by close friends.

But I overcame all of that negativity and look where I am today :) I would not be where I am without the people who DID support me from day one and the fans on my Facebook page and YouTube channel. This video also features tons of their comments.

Today I run a successful and growing business, Characters By Caroline (http://www.CharactersByCaroline.com), where I provide everything from birthday party entertainment to choreographed mermaid shows to wherever people can imagine. If I had let all the negativity and hate from the beginning get to me... I have no idea where I would be now or if I would be anywhere near as happy as I am now.

So anyway, I wanted to share it with you all because I know each and everyone one of us has faced some serious negativity before. I just wanted to say, don't ever give up on your dreams because they CAN come true.

Thank you everyone! :) I'm glad you all enjoyed it so much. Yes, I was hard to hear such mean things from my friends but there were a few who stood by my side and today they are my closest friends. Never give up, no matter what people tell you and say about you. Haters are just jealous lol :)
