well, you got me-- I have no clue. I think the lines might be grey about what's a mermaid vs. Naiad vs. Undine vs. Merrow...
now, I'm sure they all have some defining features. But lord knows, if I see a half woman/half fish, I'm happy no matter what it is! hehehehe

It's weird how many of the ads with mermaids make the same joke- that whatever they're selling is equally surprising/amazing/unbelievable as a mermaid. Like, these are all basically the same commercial, right?
