I'd love to have a fluke inspired by a gold fish! I tried to draw one but it's not that great, will post if I can find it though...

This is just a rough draft, and it needs some editing really. I hope to be able to make a clear monofin, and have some sort of translucent fabric over it, but I've been told this design would not work, and the monofin would snap in half. :( So I'll have to tweak it a bit.

Ooh, I love that whale! (I'm such a bad pokemon player though, I've never gotten far enough to get him) Doing his fluke would be really difficult, but pretty!

I think if you used Lexan and also had a support in certain parts it could work, it kinds reminds me of an oceanika merfin but straighter.

Ayla, thanks! I'm bad at names though, I'll probably forget it again. -_-
Lanai, do you think more lexan could work as a support, or would I need something stronger? Also, I was surprised when I saw the oceanika for the first time, because it was so close to my own design.
Brianna, I used to have guppies, and have always admired their fins! I'd love to have a fluke/fin like that!

I've thought of doing a coelocanth style fluke... it'd be different and strange! (in this pic, the tail is a bit ratty, but you get the idea)

i love that idea! you should go for it! it would be so cool for a badass merman tail, to, even and especially with the ragged "ratty" edges. i like it A LOT.
