Mermaid Artist here just saying hello!

My name is avid Ayala, I'm an artist, cartoonist and illustrator. I'm a huge fan of mermaids and so it stands to reason that I tend to draw quite a few mermaids as well. Other than my art, I don't have much to contribute to a forum like this, but I'm happy it's out there and that mermaiding seems to be becoming more popular! Anyway, I'm currently working on a series of mermaid drawings for a book I'm self publishing through www.luckythirteenpresents.com (http://www.luckythirteenpresents.com) and also taking submissions for stories and poems. Hi Raina, I was really happy with how that drawing turned out, too. I had to do more of a close-up than I've typically done in the past so that I could get a good likeness of you, and that helped push me to get a bit more creative with my layout.
