I really like the look of the rubber matting that is used on a lot of the sequin/neoprene/prin tails. But I can't seem to find it online anywhere. It is the stuff used on this tail http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?1479-Starting-a-sequin-tail!/page2

I've tried several google searches, with different wording but I just can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know where to get it?

that's actually called vinyl, that might be why you can't find it by searching rubber. you can get it at home depot, or any hardware store really. menards and whatnot. the one in that thread is called "Ribbed vinyl." that refers to the lines running through it. i heard that bed bath and beyond might have it too.

commonly referred to as shelf lining:

and its48 inches long. here is a link to it

Also, I found that if you google for transparent gym floor mats you'll find some too, like the ones they put under the exercise equipment. But hey, if you can find them at Home Depot, I would go there, quicker and easier!

Thanks everyone! I'm hoping to start a sequin tail once all my costumes for a convention are done. I'm actually thinking that this venture isn't going to be half as expensive as I first thought. :P
