Places to submit short stories?

Does anybody know of any magazines or publishers online or print where I could try and submit merfolk themed short stories to? I've been writing now for a good many years and have come to the point where I feel brave enough to put my writing out there :) Appreciate any suggestions.

deviantart.com and shifty.org. This last one is mostly for (mermaid) transformation tales.

I've posted stories in all of these.
