I have heard of instances where he uses swim fins instead though he advertises monofins. I cannot back this up however.

I had someone contact me because he used swim fins, and glued them in backwards making the tail unusable.

I don't think those are swimfins. They don't have foot pocket, just a strap. I mean who knows he might. Those look like foot pockets fused into a silicone fluke for his silicone tails.

It looks like he cut off the heel part, so only straps remain. On his FB he also wrote that as he couldn't get any monofins from Finis, he'll be using those swimfins instead

mine appears to be a finis as advertised. i can't see in, but feels the same, straps the same, and the outline in the fluke (very visible) and grooves of the fin in said fluke are the same as the finis monofin's i'm familiar with. BUT IT DOES NOT SWIM WELL. make that...it swims impossible.

it may not be consistent either.

If you're asking if you can use swim fins, I think u can, some people have before, so long as they're secure

[QUOTE=AniaR;37055]it may not be consistent either.

consistent? cohérent... conséquent... best words I can think of. Meaning he doesnt do the same thing all the time. Some people may get swim fins some may get monofins
