Im new to swimming in a monofin and mermaid tail, even though my tail is still in design from I need to find a pool that I'll be able to swim in when its all done! I live in bedford and need somewhere around this area that allows monofins and so I could try out the tail! I dotn have a pool or know anyone that has a decent pool to swim in, im also really desperate to try out my monofin even if I cant swim in a tail yet!

Thanks for the help and support

Yours sincerely

P.S I love how friendly Mernetwork is! I didnt realise mermaids were this popular!

Same problem here in Belgium, so I phoned around to different public pools in my area and just asked them if it's aloud to swim with my monofin. I already know that I wasn't aloud to wear a tail as it's not aloud to wear anything below knee-height

Thanks for your help MermaidFenicia! Ill try phoning up the local pools, you could ask your parents to rent the local pool for just about an hour or so if your not allowed to wear your mermaid tail!

I usually swim with my tail in hotel-pools when I'm staying there. ;) Did so last weekend in the Netherlands while I was there as a dealer at Abunai (went swimming before the convention started :p).
As I', already 43 years, I don't live at my parents place, but with my friend ;)

Welcome MermaidAqua! I wish there were more places to swim in a monofin or a tail in the UK, but a hotel pool like MermaidFenicia suggested could be one option. I'd love to bring my tail back there with me when I next get a visit home but I doubt I could find anywhere to swim in it. Apart from the sea that is, and then that's so cold most of the year round.

I hope you find somewhere to swim!

Hey SeaPearl! Thanks for the welcoming, I feel so happyon Mernetwork! I never knew this was so popular with so many kind people. I recently went just plain swimming at a pool in bedford and did some bubble ring practise (although I found it hard to sink low down) I went at about 5 o'clock ish, the pool was extremely empty, when my monofin is ready for swimming in we will ask around for places that allow flippers as these are more common and often if they allow flippers monofins are welcome too! I hope if you visit again you can find somewhere to swim too!

lol can you imagine what the hotel woud say if they saw someone dressed in full mermaid gear swimming in the pool :P On another note i reckon u could use hotel pools without staying there my dad does it all the time. If u walk into a hotel with confidence u can get away with it (works if u need the loo at padington station too :P

Hey. Maintaining a pool is difficult and expensive, as anyone who owns one knows! To purchase all the necessary equipment for a swimming pool, the user can contact the pinch a penny (https://pinch-a-penny.pissedconsumer.com/review.html) store, which can surprise every customer with a huge range of products and reasonable prices. Their experienced consultants will be happy to advise on everything needed for a pool, and the buyer will be satisfied with the purchase. They also provide excellent pool maintenance services that are popular.
