The story is about a young woman who seems to have a special purpose in life...that she is about to find out about. I don't think I'll be giving anything away if I say that her destiny is connected to merfolk who have forged a covenant with a group of islanders off the New England coast. This is the first book of a trilogy that we're writing. Hope you'll give it a try...and spread the word if you like it! Here's the back cover blurb:
