Jinx's merman crossbow design

This is a thread to continue discussing Jinx's design for a merman crossbow, which was originally posted as part of theAugust MerNetwork Challenge: Merman Fashion Design (http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?2537-AUGUST-MERNETWORK-CHALLENGE-MERMAN-FASHION-DESIGN/page5). When I made that challenge I was really hoping that we could start to come up with ideas for merman fashion accessories, and I don't want people to stop thinking about that just because the challenge is over. We can keep thinking of ideas, and I'd love to see this stuff made! Below is a copy of Jinx's post in the original thread.


Here is my official submission. My son and I designed a Merman Cross Bow together and he fabricated it. Looking nice cross bow i think you are loving person of making the cross bow what is the length of that bow which is on the cross bow..Is the length matter or not in the small or large cross bow?

He make all sizes. That one has an 80 lb. Draw weight whigh is suprizingly strong for a smaller on made of wood. Its his favorite hobbie to make this stuff.
