mermaid short film

[Mermaid Nautica Rose]

So some of my friends and I (still in high school) are planning on majoring in some form of filmmaking in college and are putting together portfolios for scholarships and such. I ended up writing a short horror film involving a mermaid being relatively evil, quite a bit of fighting and lots of underwater shots. I don't know if you guys want specifics, a script or what, but I wanted to know what you thought of the idea and see how it would be received.

That's pretty cool~ Making the film would look nice in your portfolio and even if it doesn't directly
land you anything it's still a fun project you could always stick on youtube xD

I think a more detailed idea of the script would be awesome, just to get an idea of what the storyline is

Update: Just finished the rib gills and the neck gill mold (we're deciding between the two) and the the script is being tightened up.

A random creative idea: the mermaid in the pool is a reflection of the land-lovers face (her innerself?) reflecting the inner turmoil of how people come to terms with who they really are?
