Haven't seen it. :P Sounds cool, but with all the growth to the mer-community, it's just gonna be considered "mainstream" because of all of this advertising everywhere. I hope it doesn't resort to that.

Yeah, i got into mermaiding not even knowing that there were others out there. It made me feel special and unique and it revolved around my personality. It somewhat makes me sad that people decide that it is a trend and go and pop on a tail just because they want to feel on the incrowd. Hopefully it will pass and us real mers (no offence) can get back to the simple (mostly) drama free mermaid world.

I know. I joined because of Raina, I saw she poste here and followed. I've been mermaiding since I was little. I literally took some ribbon, tied my legs together, and swam. Apparently there is only one other person I know of who is into it and she's my mixe buddy. I thought it was just us. Then I got into this and was so welcomed. Fingers crossed that haters won't bomb our community and be like, "Omg guise i got a taaaail, swaaag. Wat do i do w/ it now? Lollll."

I just bought the magazine today so I thought I'd put it on here for y'all since I noticed no one scanned it just yet. Sorry I had to do it in 2 parts...my scanner is smallish. This mag is still on newsstands as of today (don't know how long it's out for, though it says Sept 3 as the issue date).
