Probably a bit of a far-out question here: Does anyone know whether there are any resources which analyse the movement of a dolphin tail? I know for the film 'Dolphin Tale' there was some movement analysis done... but no idea how or by who. Weta NZ also did some for their amputee mermaid (http://www.wetanz.com/a-mermaid-s-tale/); although that tail cost over 50k to make. Im just intrigued to see if there is a way to construct something unique... especially if you combine dolphin movement analysis with Robotic-Fish (http://www.robotic-fish.net/) (although wrong tail orientation). You might even be able to add space for a small 'Rescue Tank'...
