Hello fellow Cali Mers,
I have just read about this awesome opportunity to get our local beaches clean. It is not limited to California of course, but I thought perhaps, THIS Pod could all get together and make it happen. (link below)
NOAA habitat conservation MARINE DEBRIS funding (http://www.habitat.noaa.gov/funding/marinedebris.html)
The only trouble for me is, I have no idea how to even start up a proposal. If anyone is interested and knows how to get the wave flowing, that would be great! We can work together!
I was invited to join "Tails Together (http://tailstogether.weebly.com/)" which is fantastic, this could be a big part of that group as well. Take a look at the page, perhaps some of you would be interested to join.
