I was watching random mermaid videos on youtube and I found this video and at the 1:45 mark there is a tail I love! Does anyone know who it is who made the tail or anything? It is great.

I will say it looks like the Aquamarine and H2O tails but the color doesn't match anything from them that I have seen.

I know it's not the same as the video, but the video looks like hannah on top, lol. And just an example of how she's been in other tails XD

It looks like the Fishtales tail to me.

It does, Lorelei. I have been wondering whose it is too. Has to be related to the H20, aquamarine, and Fishtales tail, if not one of them.

Yes, it is from Fishtails, and is the same SFX studio that made the Aquamarine and H2O tails. Here's the link to the studio: http://jmbfxstudio.com.au/jmbfx-recent-film-projects.html They are, however, extremely expensive (I believe I remember hearing $30,000), and they're really not suited for recreational swimming (they are hard to swim in, and safety divers are a must with these things). Hannah used one for a short film (Hearts Atlantis) once, and is wearing it i one of her most famous pictures: http://96jac.deviantart.com/art/Hearts-Atlantis-H2O-Crucifx-41588880

The picture and videos linked by Winged shows a much longer tail than many others - but im curious how the fin is attached to the feet? Larger would mean heavier - but longer means reduced drag in water (a long winded summary is in the Total Immersion books). It certainly looks a lot more elegant in the water. Hannah is such an inspiration.

There is a mono pocket that the feet go into. On the underside is a hinge that a pole is attached to and at the end of the pole is the fluke. So when the feet move the pole and the fluke move, thus propelling the swimmer. I've seen an in production picture of the mechanism but I can't find it. Here's a drawing though: http://jmbfxstudio.com.au/fish-tales-03.html

The tails are made mostly from silicone so they're mostly neutrally buoyant in the water which helps, but the fin in the tails are made to look pretty, not to give you a lot of propulsion.

All the H2O tails were made for about $20,000 each, and I believe the Aquamarine one was made for about the same. They are a special effects studio for TV. xD
